Angiotensin causes vasocontriction to increase the blood pressure. Aldosterone stimulates sodium reabsorption in the kidney, which causes in increase in water reuptake and increase in blood volume, which also increases blood pressure.

*When blood pressure drops LIVER releases angiotensinoGEN.
*Then KIDNEY releases RENIN.
*RENIN reacts with angiotensinoGEN and converts it into Angiotensin I (AI)
*AngiotensinI goes to LUNGS where it becomes AngiotensinII

Angiotensin II does several things:
1)Goes to ADRENAL CORTEX and stimulates it to release ALDOSTERONE
2)Makes the person feel thirsty and regulates ADH (antidiuretic hormone)release
3)Regulates ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) release

All these activities together constrict blood vessels and make the blood pressure rise.
