Describe the parasympathetic innervation of the heart, specifying the location of the pre- and post-ganglionic cell bodies and axons, as well as relevant named structures within the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS). What is the effect of parasympathetic innervation of the heart?

Thank you in advance Slight Smile

Here's a good place to start:

The vagus nerve is responsible for parasympathetic innervation of the heart (and most trunk organs).

Parasympathetic ganglia are located close to target organs (as opposed to sympathetic ganglia, which are close to the spinal cord).
