Hi, I really need help with this question! I have researched it, and I think that acidity DOES affect cell differentiation, but I'm not sure. Please, help! Thanks!

You have to learn to explore with different search terms. That's why I like wikipedia so much, the blue words (if clicked on) are links to further info. But acidity is measured with the pH scale and is very influential on the cell cycle, metabolism, and all mechanisms in the body. Just like temperature has a very finite range in which the body can maintain homeostasis, so does pH. When either of those get out of range the proteins start to unravel, enzymes (which are made of proteins) can no longer catalyze chemical reactions.
any of these terms you don't fully understand could be searched in wikipedia, youtube, google "[search term] animation"
or you might want to look into acidosis, necrosis, lysis, apoptosis
