One study attempting to detect dissociative identity disorder, had patients view words and pictures and then recall the stimuli when they were either experiencing dissociation or not.  Results suggested
A) some types of learning do not transfer between alter identities.
B) dissociated individuals are unable to engage in memory tasks.
C) dissociation episodes tend to wipe the memory of anything learned prior to the dissociation episode.
D) people recalled the same amount of stimuli regardless of their dissociation state at learning or recall.
