Vertigo is a subtype dizziness..a feeling of motion....described as if the world is spinning or moving. I have had several episodes of vertigo and let me tell you it is no fun! It's almost as off you can not catch your balance. You try to stand, you fall, so it is no use until sxs (symptoms) subside. You may also hear or see it described as giddiness too (same as dizziness).

Medications used: Anticholinergics are used such as : Scopolamine for N&V sxs associated. Antiemetics: Meclizine, Promethazine is also used
