I need to find the longest contiguous sequence ever established using the maxim-gilbert (chemical degradation) method. I couldn't find any useful references to this in literature. So the only other way I can think of to do this would be to somehow sort the ncbi nucleotide sequence database by length and filter it to show only sequences that used this method, but I can't figure out how to do that. Please help.
