a) Calculate the fraction of crystallinity of polythylene samples with densities at 20oC of 926, 940 and 955 kg/m3. Take the specific volume of crystalline polyethylene as 0.989 x 10-3 m3/kg and that of amorphous polyethylene as 1.160 x 10-3 m3/kg. (b) what assumption did you make in this calculation?
