Fc‐receptors tend to have short cytoplasmatic tails. This has consequences for signaling in cells expressing
the Fc receptor. How? (1p)
A. The Fc – receptor is situated close to “secondary messengers” (e.g., MAP kinaser) which in turn
transmit the information to the nucleus.
B. The Fc receptor is dependent on a co‐receptor to be able to send signals. Signaling via co‐
receptors initiate intracellular signaling.
C. The Fc receptor is not involved in intracellular signaling.
D. The primary role of the Fc receptorn is to enhance or slow down signaling.
E. The Fc receptor is translocated to the cytoplasm where it binds to ”secondary messengers”
