Does the Bromide become a toxic bromine when the H2C03 reacts with the bromide? When carbonating water, CO2 is added to water that has salts with bromide in them. Can this create a toxic solution? Thanks!

You won't form bromine when you carbonate water that contains bromide. It won't be toxic.  And most of the CO2 in the water doesn't become H2CO3 anyway.  Keq for formation of H2CO3 from CO2 in water is 1.7 x 10^-3 at room temp.
