It is known that hydrogen ions in the acid give the corrosive property in the acidic solution. If that is the case, why does it so?

An acid is that substance which is in desperate need of electrons . IT can accept electrons from anywhere if they are available

A hydrogen ion is posiitvely charge i.e it is a proton and it needs electron from somewhere so it has the corrosive property, IF you put it in your hand it will take electrons from you(or oxidise) and your hand will hurt.

because it   is  cation or carry positive charge (base0 and once it come in contact with anion or negative charge (acid)of  acidic solution it  gives corrosive  property.
