r = radius of ball = diameter/2 = 10 cm /2 = 5 cm = 0.05 m

v = translational speed = 0.45 m/s

a)

angular speed = w = V/r = 0.45 / 0.05 = 9 rad/s

b)

Rotational KE is given as

Rotational KE = (0.5) I W2 = (0.5) (2.2 x 10-3) (9)2 = 0.0891 J

C)

angular momentum = L = Iw = (2.2 x 10-3) 9 = 0.0198
