Write the equation of the line through the points (2, -3) and (4, -5) in standard form. I already put it into slope-intercept format and got y=-x -1. If you could help with the rest it would be great!

Standard form is Ax + By = C, so simply add x to both sides:

y + x = -1

You will need to find the slope first using: y2 - y1 / x2 - x1.

Then, substitute that into y = m(x) + b, where the answer from the above goes into m.
