For a certain type of paper towel made of recycled paper, there is an average of 1 flaws (rougher parts) per meter. The number of flaws per meter can be approximated by a poisson distribution. (a) Find the probability of exactly 4 flaws in one meter. (b) If a length of 9 metres was examined by quality control, what lambda would be used to find the probability of exactly 7 flaws? (c) find the probability that in 9 metres there will be exactly 7 flaws?
