Octopus love crabs. Bears and other carnivores eat them as well. Sorry Tentofield,  but despite their name crab-eater seals do not eat crabs.

There are many animals that will prey on crabs whether it is on the bottom of the sea or on shore.

Predators include octopuses, cuttlefishes, sharks, lobsters, sea turtles, moray eels.  On shore several species of wading birds such plovers and sandpipers will eat small crabs.  Sea otters and river otters that lives near shorelines will eat crabs.  Seals, sea lions and gulls will include crabs in their diets.

Even bald eagles in Puget Sound, WA have been known to eat crabs as well.
