How do they know what B antigens look like? How are the b antigens made available to the t-lymphocytes to instigate production of the b antibodies?

The AB antigens are very similar to bacterial antigens, so your immune system has seen them before.  If you don't have them, tolerance won't be induced, so antibodies will be made.
