A) held that the state of New York had the constitutional right under the powers reserved to the states under the Tenth Amendment to give Ogden a monopoly to ferry service in New York harbor.
B) held that since New York harbor rested partly within the state nautical border of New Jersey, New York must consult with New Jersey in awarding a monopoly to ferry service in New York harbor.
C) held that since New York harbor connected New York and New Jersey, the ferry service between the two states involved interstate commerce, which only Congress could control, thus, making Ogden's state-awarded monopoly unconstitutional.
D) held all interstate economic monopolies to be unconstitutional, regardless of whether the state government or the federal government was involved in creating them.
