Hi everyone I currently have a 78 in Chemistry and my final grade rests on 3 more assignments so I can really use an A! Can anyone please help

Which source is responsible for the greatest amount of NOx emissions in the U.S.?

 lightning

 biomass burning

 fossil fuel combustion

 microbial activity in the soil

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which of the following is NOT considered an air pollutant?

 water vapor

 ozone

 nitric oxide

 sulfur dioxide

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What type of very reactive chemical species participates in the formation of photochemical smog?

 free radicals

 strong acids

weakly bonded materials such as those that contain hydrogen bonds

substances that contain coordinate covalent bonds

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which of the following dissolved substances would you not expect to be in "pure" water?

 CN-

 Fe 2+

 O2

 dust particles

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What percentage of the human body is water?

 10 percent

 40-50 percent

 70 percent

 98 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which ions are associated with hard water?

 Na+ and NH4+

 Mg2+ and Ca2+

 K+ and Cl-

 Pb2+ and Zn2+

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which of the following is a property of water that makes it unique from nearly all other chemicals on earth?

compared to molecules that are similar to its size, water is the only compound that is a liquid at room temperature
the boiling point of water is hundreds of degrees higher than other molecules that are similar to its size
water is the only compound that exists naturally in all three physical states of matter (solid, liquid, gas) under normal conditions on earth.
all of these are unique properties of water

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A fertilizer is labeled 6-10-12. The "12" represents the percentage of

 nitrogen

 potassium

 phosphorus

 oxygen

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The most widely used herbicide is

 primicarb

 carboryl

 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid

 dioxin

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ammonium nitrate, NH4NO3, is a straight nitrogen chemical fertilizer. What problems does it pose?

 it is too expensive

it is not a commonly produced industrial chemical
It is too easily leeched from soil because it is very soluble, posing a pollution concern

It is too stable, and plants cannot pick it up from the soil

Rightwards Arrow all of these are unique properties of water Could also BE this

Thanks Lewis! You rock!
Biolove I was hoping someone would verify # 7 for me

Lewis stated that it could have been one of the last too. I was hoping someone would verify that one

I would go with all of the above Undecided there are like 19 properties of water, so it's likely three of those.
