Recently I have been confused the chemical reaction for photosynthesis is 6 CO2 + 6H2O Rightwards Arrow H12C6O6+ 6O2 and the chemical reaction for cellular respiration required for the plants is the exact opposite H12C6O6+ 6O2 Rightwards Arrow 6CO2 +H2O. Where in this process is the oxygen we breathe produced if Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration cancel each other out? (I know the molecules of oxygen aren't the same because the oxygen from photosynthesis is given of before oxygen from the air is taken in for cellular respiration.)

The net production of oxygen is 0. This happens only at a certain point in the day and not all time, as light intensity is constantly changing throughout the day.
