Hello,

I'm stuck with these below 3 questions, and I'd like to have your helps.

Write word equations to represent the reaction between the following pairs of substances then write balanced chemical equations for the neutralization reaction.

1) hydrochloric acid and potassium hydroxide

2) nitric acid and sodium hydroxide (Hint: Think of nitric acid as hydrogen nitrate)

3) sulfuric acid and potassium hydrogen carbonate

Your inputs are highly appreciated.

1) hydrochloric acid reacts with potassium hydroxide to produce potassium chloride and water
HCl + KOH ? KCl + H2O

2) nitric acid reacts with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium nitrate and water
HNO3 + NaOH ? NaNO3 + H2O ( I really cannot see the need of the "hint")

3) Sulphuric acid reacts with potassium hydrogen carbonate to produce potassium sulphate, carbon dioxide and water.
H2SO4 + 2 KHCO3 ? K2SO4 + 2CO2 + 2H2O

1.Hydrochloric acid reacts with potassium hydroxide to produce potassium chloride and water.
HCL(aq) kOH(aq) -->kCL H2O(l)
2.trioxonitrate(v)acid reacts with sodium hydroxide to produce water and sodium nitrate (v).
HNO3 NAOH-->H2O NANO3
3.Potassium hydrogen trioxocarbonate(v) reacts with tetraoxosulphate(vi)acid to produce pottasium sulphate(vi) and carbondioxide.
2KHCO3 H2SO4-->K2SO4 2CO2.
