Please explain how to find the coefficient of kinetic friction in a problem like this.

A block is released from rest on an inclined plane and moves 2.7 m during the next 2.4 s. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2. The mass of the block is 7kg and the incline is 37 degrees.

first find the acceleration of block by appling s=ut +1/2at^2
then you should draw the free body diagram in which the force duce to gravity in the plane of inclined surface is mgsin37 and perpendicular to plane is mgcos37
then we assume the cofficient be   f
then we got the equation (gsin37-gcos37)=acceleration we found by the equation as mentioned above
.......good luck Slight Smile
