I have taken both classes, but it has been a while. So when I was asked this question, I didn't know how to respond. Upon investigation, Im having trouble finding any information out there on this topic. I know that linear algebra is the study of lines and vectors, and calc is more about rates of change...

IDK....can you help?

Thanks!

None. They are two separate concepts in mathematics.
Linear Algebra will help you solve expressions of degree one.
If you want to solve functions with degree 2 or more, you are suppose to use calculus.
Calculus, on the other hand, is completely different, one is used as a measure of change (Derivatives) and other one to describe total amount of change (Integrals) that is brought about by changes in parameters.
