In a chem lab we had to collect the gas released fromt he reaction of HCl and Mg. We had to alter the process by heating, stirring or doing soemthing else to see what enhanced the reaction. We heated up the HCl then reacted ti with Mg but there was no change in reaction. Why does heat not alter the reaction on a molecular level?
