When a comet passes through the inner solar system, how many tails do we normally see?

(a)   Two: one consisting of ions of gas, and the other consisting of dust particles.
(b)   One, consisting of ice particles trailing behind the comet as it hurtles along its orbit.

(c)   Three: one consisting of ice particles trailing behind the comet, a second consisting of gas ions, and a third consisting of dust particles.
