1 -- All of the nursing diagnoses except Option 4 are appropriate for the patient. Deferring to Maslow’s hierarchy, the physiological diagnosis of Airway Clearance would have the highest priority. Once the patient’s physiological status is managed, the diagnoses that address body image and communication can be addressed.
