Form of the parabola is y=ax^2+3x-4, and the maximum value is 5. How to find the equation in vertex form? I don't know how to find your a value with just the maximum value.

y = ax^2 + 3x - 4

a = a, b = 3, c = -4.

K = 5 =c - b/4a

a = -1/4

h = -b/2a

= 6

It supports all the others....

Equation: y = (-1/4) x^2 + 3x - 4
