1) That's a bit strange because 3 and 6 are more close to metaphase, and 4 and 7 are more close to telophase... (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Meiosis_diagram.jpg ) However, if I were you I would choose d) 3 and 6.

2) It's clear that this is a germ cell because firstly the homologous chromosomes are separated and then the sisters chromatids of each chromosome are separated. The first step (separation of the homologous chromosomes) is a characteristic of germ cells. (Gametes are the cells at stage 8)
