1.) what would happen if a skeletal muscle were fully contracted and calcium was completely removed from the muscle cell in an infant?

When smooth muscle is stretched (such as in the digestive organs) it has the ability to adjust to this new length or stretch and the ability to relax and return to the length it was prior to being stretched.
