Expository instruction may or may not be an effective way of helping students to store information in their long-term memories; its effectiveness depends on how the instruction is carried out. Describe:
   a. At least two processes through which information can be stored effectively in long-term memory.
   b. At least four strategies you might use to promote effective long-term memory storage during expository instruction. Describe each strategy in specific and concrete terms, and explain how it should facilitate students' long-term memory storage.
