Analyzing chromosome 1 of a male and female

1. The first child of this couple was Rh- (Rhesus negative). What is the chance that the second child of this is a girl and Rh- (Rhesus negative)? Use Punnett squares and/or the calculation to show your work.

2. Nomenclature for writing alleles on a homologous chromosome pair
 
The phrase DEP/dep means the first three letters, DEP, represent the order in which the alleles would appear on the first homologous chromosome. The “/” signifies the following alleles, dep, will appear on the second homologous chromosome (also in the stated order). It is to be assumed that the genes will appear at the same location on both the two homologous chromosomes.
 
A student thought one possible order of the alleles on each of the male chromosomes could be DEP/dep. What would have to happen for this to occur? At what stage of meiosis would this happen?
