1 PCO2 would be higher in venous blood because the capillaries would exchange the O2 in the arterial blood for CO2 in the venous blood
2  The PCO2 would also be higher in the venous blood
3  The plasma HCO3- would be higher in the arterial blood because the kidney decreases its concentration to buffer the blood so the pH would be at a more desirable level when it reaches the lungs
4  Plasma Cl- would be higher in the venous blood because the ions would be exchanged in the cells
