Rank these in order of increasing attraction to water molecules. Explain your choice. What supports your choice?

CO2
H2CO3
(HCO3)-
(CO3)2-

I drew the Lewis structures for them and I think that the attraction might have to do with solubility or polarity, but can't find all the solubility constants online. 10 POINTS for correct answer with best explanation.

You are dealing with more than one thing here.  You are dealing with both attraction to water molecules and with chemical reactions between the substance and the water molecules.  Your thought that polarity is involved is correct.  The more polar the substance, the easier it will dissolve in water.
