3Ca(OH)2 + 2Al Rightwards Arrow 2Al(OH)3 + 3Ca

According to the balanced reaction given above, the mole ratio between Al(OH)3 and Ca(OH)2 is 2:3 (or if you simplify, 1:1.5(or 3/2)

thus, n(Ca(OH)2) = n(Al(OH)3) x 1.5
                               = 0.0125 mol x 1.5
                                = 0.01875 mol

thus, 0.01875mol (=formula units) of Ca(OH)2 is needed.

hope this helps;-)
