I know Acetic acid is CH3COOH and barium hydroxide is Ba(OH)2. But when I try to make a product I get very lost >.< The ending question is "How many grams of the soluble salt would you obtain?" So I know the Ba comes out to be a solid. Any help please?

 Acetic acid cation is ACETATE.  This reacts with the anion of the hydroxide to form BARIUM ACETATE or Ba (CH3COO-)2

barium ethanoate and water, since ethanoic acid is the same as acetic acid
2CH3COOH + Ba(OH)2--------->(CH3COO)2Ba + 2H20

Chemical: CH3COOH (aq) + NaOH (aq) -----> NaCH3COO (aq) + H2O (l)

so you can do the same for Ba(OH)2,  but balance out the equation  when you write  it.

both sides have to have the same number of H's  and  O's

Acetic acid is also HC2H3O2 which forms H+ and C2H3O2- (minus).
This produces Barium Acetate Ba(C2H3O2)2 and Water.

Barium Acetate is a soluble salt (aqueous)
