Basically they are reverse reactions of each other. Photosythesis is the means autotrophic organisms use to convert solar energy into the form of glucose. Cellular respiration is the means by which this stored energy is released. The equations are backwards of each other. You need carbon dioxide and water and to be int he presence of sunlight for photosynthesis to occur, then it leads to oxygen and glucose being produced. Cellular respiration needs oxygen and glucose, then uses this to form carbon dioxide, water, and ATP (energy).
