OK, so what is the question.
If you live in a rural or semi rural area you just go visit some farmers.
If you are in a city you might need to contact an agricultural extension service.

A typical farm in the area where I live is a mixed livestock and crops farm. Most raise beef cattle on what is called the cow-calf program. They raise beef cows on pasture and hay. The calves are raised to weaning age and then fattened on grass, corn silage, or grain to around 600 pounds and sold  as feeders. The crops raised are mainly corn, soybeans, and winter wheat, grown in rotation. The use of fertilizer is about 50% chicken litter and 50% chemical fertilizers. The winter wheat is either grown out to harvest and followed by late soybeans or used as a cover crop and a green manure crop and followed by corn or early soybeans. Some will graze the wheat and/or harvest it early as a low quality hay crop, which helps overwinter the cows. The herbicides used have been greatly reduced by the use of Roundup Ready beans and corn. Roundup is the only herbicide used, generally. but not on all farms. The use of insecticides are only employed when necessary, but insects are generally not a problem. The exception in our area is the Japanese beetle in soybeans which is controlled by spraying insecticide on the outer dozen rows, since the beetle attacks the crop from the outer edges of the field inwards. Timely spraying of the outer rows will protect the whole crop.
