Priority is what you should do first. Know your A,B,C's lol (airway, breathing and circulation)

Patient can be bleeding but you take care of the the airway first, you give 2 liters of oxygen. The rest of the choices are automatic crossouts

Since this is a medical emergency, priority nursing actions focus on maintaining the airway and improving oxygenation, then breathing and circulation. Inserting an IV catheter would follow, but often, if there is more than one caregiver present, this action can be done simultaneously. Medication would not be given until the ABCs have been addressed. The blood glucose level is not related to pulmonary edema.
