The colour of the mixture serves as a guide to the amount of sugar in the urine : blue-sugar absent; green-0.5% sugar; yellow-1% sugar; orange-1.5% sugar; brick red-2 % or more sugar.

Due to insulin what happens to the liver?

Insulin causes cells in the liver, skeletal muscles, and fat tissue to take up glucose from the blood. In the liver and skeletal muscles, glucose is stored as glycogen.
