An example of Sex linked inheritence is 'Colour Blindness'
As affected males are 'hemizygous' for this trait (having only 1 allele on X chromosome), there is no counter allele on Y chromosome that can check or mask the effect of this allele. So, more males affected by the sex linked disease. Females can be carriers if they have 1 normal chromosome.
