In a pea plant population, the dominant allele for tallness (T) has a frequency of 0.13. What percent of the population would be expected to be heterozygous (Tt) for the height gene?

the dominant allele has frequency 0.64

Therefore the recessive allele has frequency 1-0.64=0.36
the genotype frequency will be 0,64 x 0.36 x 2 = 0.4608

Note that we multiply by 2 since we can have the order (Tt) or (tT). Both are exactly the same.

Now, to get the population percentage we multiply 0,4608 by 100 = 46.08 (Its simply converting a decimal to a percentage)
