What is a punch list?

a.   It is a list, prepared at the beginning of a renovation project, that identifies for the contractor which jobs are most critical to the renovation’s success.

b.   It is a list, prepared at the end of a renovation project, which identifies construction work that does not conform to contract specifications.

c.   It is a list, prepared by the designer one year after the renovation project is completed, which identifies for the contractor any work that has demonstrated partial or complete structural failure during the year.

d.   It is a list, prepared by the contractor at the beginning of the renovation project, which identifies for the hotel owner those portions of the renovation design that do not meet local or national building codes.
