Suppose the period of revolution of an asteroid (call it Foosbane) in its orbit around the sun is 10.4 years. From this value, calculate the distance from the sun to Foosbane. Express the result in AU (astronomical units) defined by 1 AU = mean distance from the sun to the earth.
Hint: Use Kepler's third law, T2 ? r3.
