Using the Ideal Gas Law:

PV=nRT

Calculate the number of moles of CO2:

\(number\ of\ moles\ of\ CO_2=\frac{Mass\ of\ CO_2\ in\ g}{Molar\ Mass\ of\ CO_2\ in\ \frac{g}{mol}}\)

\(CO_2=\ \frac{6.43 g}{44.01\ \frac{g}{mole}}\)

nCO2 = 0.14610315837 mole

R at 25oC = 0.082057338 L . atm/ K . mol

T in K = 25oC + 273 K= 298K.

V in L = 0.684 L

Rearrange:

P = nRT/V
   = [0.14610315837 mole x (0.082057338 L . atm/ K . mol) x 298K ]/ 0.684 L
   = 5.22 atm
