What is the pH of a solution prepared by dissolving 63 mmol of a weak base in 200 mL of a 0.169-M solution of its conjugate acid if pKa = 4.28 for the acid.

moles weak base = 0.063
concentration weak base = 0.063/0.200 L=0.315 M
pKb = 14 - 4.28=9.72
pOH = 9.72 + log 0.169/ 0.315 =9.45
pH = 4.55
