it has one right angle, the opposite side is 34, and the hypotenuse is 55. I need to know HOW to do it, not just the answer. I know it's something with a inverse sin or something, i have a scientific calculator, and i'm in grade ten.

You need to use SOH CAH TOA

this is the idea that you are given two side(/angles) and from this you can work out the other

You have been given the opp side (O) and the hyp (H) so you are going to take SOH and use the sine function in your calculator. S=O/H

I hope this helps you work out the answer

Although you have been given a right-angled triangle so can't you use Pythagoras' Theorem?
( a^2+b^2=c^2 )
