I did an experiment looking at species in a prairie where it does regular burning and reseeding. Then I looked at a prairie that hadn't been burned at all. Now I am questioning which area would have more species richness, I feel like it could go either way. The burned area physically has specific native species come in as it is reseeded. However the old, unburned prairie has native species from our area and gets different species thru pollination and the wind & such over many years. whats your opinion?
