the S enantiomer was found to have an observed specific rotation of +4.8 degree. what is the specific rotation of each of the enantiomer ??
plzz....explain d whole procedure....!!!

your solution is equivalent to30/(30+10) [ 30 ml * 0.1 -10 ml 0.10] = 30/40 *20ml * 0.1
= 1.5 ml M

which is the equivalent of cutting the S enatiomer in half

thus, the S solution had +9.6 degree spec rot
and R is -9.6 deg spec rot
