After a long-term study of traits, the evidence suggests that
a. traits are very changeable.
b. traits are seldom stable over three years.
c. there are subtle age-related changes in some personality traits.
d. there is little evidence for trait theory.

Correct: Studies that follow individuals into old age show that openness, extraversion, and neuroticism decline as adults age. Agreeableness increases, as does conscientiousness, up until around age 70, when it begins to show decline.
