A) The mission statement of a company, the example of behavior set by management, the application of orientation programs to inform new employees of ethical standards and conduct expected of them, and ongoing ethics training programs are all means of improving the culture of ethical and responsible conduct in a business. This mission statement posted in the workplace is a good reminder of the goals and values of the business. When the mission statement is printed on a document and taken out of the workplace, it has less value on ethics in the workplace. Distributing calendars with the mission statement of the company for employees to take home and use or to give away at holiday time will not improve the culture of the business ethically and may have a negative impact on the environment because of its unnecessary use of paper resources.
