I was doing this problem: f(x) = (x+2)^4 for x?0
The question is to find the inverse function and domain of the inverse.
The answer is : x^(1/4) - 2 for x?16

I understand how to find the inverse, but how in the world did they get a domain of x?16? Shouldn't the domain be x?0 because you want to keep a negative out of the 4th root?

Thanks for any help Slight Smile
