a) What is the value of the original lease contract?
b) If, due to delays, the first eight payments were deferred, how much money would be needed after nine months to bring the lease payments up to date?

a) PVn = 762.79  = 762.79(47.2924743) = $36 074.23
b) FVn = 762.79  = 762.79(9.4633742) = $7218.57
c) PVn = 762.79  = 762.79(43.4234299)
   = 33122.96 + 7218.57 = $40 341.53
d) Interest: 40341.53 - 36074.23 = $4267.30
e) Payment needed after 9 months = $7218.57
   minus   -
   Normal payments = 9 × 762.7    = 6865.11 
   Additional interest   = $ 353.46
